Act50 ("Act50", "we", "us") operates the website act50.eu and provides tools that scan websites for EU AI Act Article 50 transparency gaps and help remediate them. Act50 is operated by its founder as an independent service. Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd.
Act50 detects the presence of AI chat widgets and related Article 50 signals, produces a report, and provides a disclosure widget and supporting tools. Act50 is a compliance aid, not legal advice. Findings are referenced to Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689. You are responsible for your own legal compliance; for formal sign-off consult a qualified lawyer.
You agree to provide accurate information, to use Act50 only for websites you own or are authorised to act for, and not to misuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell the service except under an agency plan. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
Prices are shown on our pricing page. One-time purchases are billed once; optional monitoring is billed monthly until cancelled. Paddle handles billing, receipts, and applicable taxes as Merchant of Record.
Act50 is provided "as is". Detection is best-effort and may miss or misclassify signals; we do not warrant that use of Act50 guarantees legal compliance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including fines assessed against you by any authority.
We may update the service or these terms; material changes will be posted here. You may stop using the service at any time; cancellation of monitoring is effective at the end of the current billing period.
